“Tastsinn & Imagination” explores how an object situated between sculpture, light and space can be experienced through touch. The project connects tactile perception with atmospheric staging and encourages viewers to not only look at a form, but to continue shaping it in their imagination.
The documentation walks through the whole process – from initial notes on the topic of touch, material research and small models to experiments with transparency, shadow and guiding the hand. Step by step, a spatial object emerges whose surfaces and edges are designed specifically for being grasped and explored.
The PDF combines concept texts, sketches, photographs of experiments and the development of the final piece. It traces how an abstract question turns into a physical, poetic artefact.
